Jess' Marathon Fundraiser

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Back in 2015, leukaemia became a part of my life when my grandad was diagnosed. I spent hours researching what it was, how I could help and if there was anything I could do. Through his treatment, he always knew he’d beat his leukaemia and wanted to make sure we always knew we could do anything we our our minds to. He texted me one day saying “you do it for me, I’ll do it for you” and I’ve never forgotten that message and still have it saved in my phone 9 years on. Sadly, we lost my Grandad that July despite beating his leukaemia so I knew if I ever ran the marathon - it had to be for a charity that was close to my heart and helped other families going through similar. I am running for #TEAMLC, Leukaemia Care in the London Marathon 2025. It would mean the world if you could donate even £1 towards a great cause and to support me through my marathon journey.
So Grandad, this is me doing it for you.
Just like I promised.
