Story

Jessica was transferred to Great Ormond Street hospital in September after a terrifying night of her being completely paralysed and in severe pain.  They left no stone unturned and used many many resources to come to her diagnosis of JIA.  We were there several weeks and her care was amazing,  in between the many tests she was having she had play specialists decorating cakes with her,she had a playroom in her ward with lots of lovely equipment, and most importantly we felt secure in the knowledge that we had numerous specialists and amazing equipment that would help diagnose and treat Jessica’s condition.  We were lucky to stay in a very new ward which was more like a hotel- much needed when you are worried sick and living there for weeks- , but some of the other wards need much more tlc, so every child and family can have the experience we did.

Your donation will help to fund ground-breaking research, advanced equipment, child and family support services, and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities.

Please donate for children like Jessica and families like us, And the so many there that were in a far worse situation than us, so that during the most scary, worrying and emotional time of their life they can have the best experience possible, Thankyou xx
