I am trekking to the top of Wales’ highest peak in memory of my gorgeous Tommy. 

My fiancé passed away on 10th November 2019 due to a lung condition called Bronchiectasis at only 27 years old.  

When Tom was only four years old, he developed a rare Cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma, and two years after this, he developed a Ewings Sarcoma. The effects of the treatment lead to the debilitating lung condition, bronchiectasis. 

Tom’s activities were limited by his health. Whilst he battled bravely to lead as normal a life as possible, he would always face restrictions on what he could and could not do. Five years ago his lung condition meant that he became more and more reliant on oxygen to help make life bearable, and in some ways, possible.

Even though bronchiectasis caused so many issues in our lives we still had a wonderful life together and I hope to keep raising money and awareness to make Thomas proud.
