I am taking part in the London Night Hike along with 13 of Ellie's closest friends (under the team name El's Belles & Beau) to show our support for Maggies Centres, a charity that provide fantastic support, therapies and treatments for those fighting cancer.  They also provide much needed support for friends and families of those living with this horrible disease.

Ellie was so grateful for the support that her local Maggie's Centre in London gave her throughout her treatment and we all want to give something back to them and help other people in a similar situation.

Taking part in the Night Hike is very apt as Ellie loved living in London and the walk will allow us to visit some of the city's greatest landmarks, something she would have thoroughly enjoyed.

I know lots of you will have sponsored friends and family for other events and it can be hard coughing up to support everyone; but those of you that know what Ellie went through will realise what a valuable service Maggie's offer and without events like this they wouldn't be able to carry on doing such great work.
