I did it and survived :D Not the best way to spend Bonfire Night, but it was still enjoyable. I've put some photos up just to prove it. It was indeed wet, cold, dark, and muddy, as well as foggy, so we didn't even get the benefit of the view! Overall I reckon it took us about 4.5 hours, plus a little bit of time in the pub to warm up, dry off and watch the fireworks.

 

But I'm still too far off my target for my liking. Please help me to realise I didn't waste my night and donate a little bit of dosh! Thank you very much :)
