On the 26th May 2018 our lives changed forever when my beautiful Sister Gem died suddenly of a heart attack.

As anyone who knew Gem will know, she was a very kind and positive person who loved to spend time with family and friends. It has been an extremely tough time for Tom, Grace, Bobby and all the family. We feel extremely sad to have lost Gem. Yet at those times we remember Gem with love and pride and think. 'What would Gem say, What would Gem do?'. We know she would want us to be happy and we want to make Gem proud by raising as much money as we can for other children who are grieving like Grace and Bobby. Winston's Wish have been a big help at this time, not only helping Tom and the kids but many families and children in the same situation. The kids will keep us going and this is something we can do for them.

Life will never be the same without Gem. We are so proud of the woman she became and have been blessed to have her in our lives. This sadness will never leave us, yet we are so thankful for all the memories we have shared.
