My brother was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumour in September 2021. He is continuing to fight, having had two craniotomy’s, a brain bleed and undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy intensely. He remains positive and continues to enjoy taking his little boy out on adventures. His positivity towards continuing a normal life whilst undergoing this treatment is my inspiration for running the London Marathon. 

I wish to raise awareness and as much money as I can for brain research. Due to the high rate of recurrence, limited treatment options and aggressive nature of the disease. It requires more research as the glioblastoma is the most common type of malignant primary brain tumour in adults.
