Entering the ballot for the GNR was really just an excuse to go back to my univeristy city of Newcaslte for a bit of a party. However, in January this year when we had the shocking and heartbreaking news that our great friend Dave took his own life, this 'excuse' became something more serious. I decided that I would "do it for Dave" and therefore I would need to (again) ask for you all to show your extreme generosity to help raise money for Mind charity.

I couldn't believe the statistic that suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 40. It is because of this that I am asking you all to give what you can to Mind so that they can help people who are suffering.
