Thank you for supporting me on this challenge. 

I am taking part in the Bournemouth Half Marathon on the 3/4th October 2015 in remembrance of  my mum who sadly passed away on the 23rd Dec 2014 after battling with cancer for over 10 years. 

My mum was a true inspiration to everyone she met. She gave everything she had to help others, even when she was the one who needed help the most. It is now my turn to follow in her footsteps and help others who are fighting the terrible disease and to also help those who are in my position that have lost someone extremely close to them as a result of cancer. 

My mum was my best friend and I am extremely passionate about doing whatever I can to help find a cure and putting a stop to the disease that took her away from me and my family. 

Every little helps and I believe that together we can stop cancer from cutting lives short.
