Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 8th January 2023, my son, Dylan, should be celebrating his 11th birthday. Sadly, due to a brain tumour, he isn't here to do so.
The date will also mark the first anniversary of my Aunts death from the same awful disease. She died as I was delivering the doughnuts for Dylan's 10th birthday last year and I received the devastating news as I was walking home.
So, in their memory, and as a thank you for the care Dylan received there, I will walk from our home in Aston Clinton to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and back to deliver a tray of Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts to the team on ward 3, the children's ward.
These were Dylans favourite doughnuts.
I have chosen to support Brain tumour research as they have a 'sponsor a day' campaign whereby if you raise £2740 in a year, you can sponsor a day's brain tumour research.
I have already sponsored Dylan's 9th and 10th birthdays and I am now working towards sponsoring his 11th.
My long term aim is to sponsor all the birthdays Dylan will never get to celebrate to help ensure other children can celebrate more birthdays than he did.
