Story
In 2021, our mum passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a stroke aged 64. She wasn’t your typical 64 year old, she was relatively fit and active but had recently been suffering with dizzy spells and sickness which unbeknown to us and the doctors was early warning signs of a stroke. My Brother and I are looking to raise money in order to help research into the prevention of strokes, early diagnosis, as well as medical advancements in treatments. A donation , no matter how small , could help prevent families in future generations losing loved ones unnecessarily and far too early in their lives.
So, whilst chatting over coffee last weekend, we came up with the idea of taking on the Welsh 3 Peak challenge in 24 hours to raise money for The Stroke Association. On the 30th of September this year we will start off at 4am to climb Snowdon in the North before moving onto Cadair Idris in mid-Wales then down to Pen y Fan in the south all in under 24 hours!
What ever you would be willing to donate would be amazing and appreciated so much. Thank you. Jess & Josh.
