Story
Hello. My name is Poppy and I am 11 years old. I am going to be donating my Afro hair to the Little Princess Trust. I have wanted to do it for a long time, now I finally can. I have only ever had small trims in my life, never a big cut, so this is a big deal to me. I love my hair, I always say big hair don’t care. Even though I love my hair so much, I know that other people will be able to love my hair too. I am having my hair cut in February half term, exciting!
Please could you donate whatever money you are comfortable with. The money I will raise will be used for the Little Princess Trust, meaning children will be able to have wigs if they become ill and need them. The money will also help the charity with equipment and costs. This is very important to me.
It costs £550 to make just one wig for a child. Please help me raise enough money to make one wig.
Thank you,
Love Poppy x
Here is a little bit about the charity..
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
