Story
During the first lockdown of 2020 I took up 'running'. I started off on a second hand cross trainer in our spare bedroom with lofty ambitions that maybe I could get to 5k and hopefully keep the extra lockdown pounds at bay! I never dreamt that I would actually end up enjoying it let alone double my target distance! But here I am, regularly running 5k and now officially signed up for my first 10k!! So, to put my new found hobby to good use, in August 2021 I'll be taking part in GEAR and asking for donations to help continue the fantastic work we do at Cats Protection Downham Market. All funds raised go directly to the centre and help with many aspects of the work we do including the feral trap, neuter and return programme, something I am especially passionate about. The cats in my cover picture have benefitted directly from this programme.
