Jess and Caz's skydive for autism awareness

Skydive for autism awareness · 24 June 2016
I currently work with people on the autistic specrum , and see the struggle they and their family go through on a day to day basis and how people don't always understand them.
I've decided to do a skydive for the national autistic society ... This is a big challenge for me as I have never stepped foot on a plane through having a fear of heights. This charity is so important to me that I am willing to conquer these fears.
A little bit about autism from the national autistic society ...
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others.
Autistic people see, hear and feel the world differently to other people. If you are autistic, you are autistic for life; autism is not an illness or disease and cannot be 'cured'. Often people feel being autistic is a fundamental aspect of their identity.
The national autistic society promote awareness of this disability. But not only that, they provide support for families and anyone with autism .
