At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This photograph of Niamh and Grandma was taken at Grandma's house in Collingham in April 2010. In my childhood, time at Grandma and Grandad's meant playing on the go-kart in the garden with my cousins, walks along Westfield Lane with Hattie and paddling in the Fleet after a  huge roast dinner. Niamh's memories of Collingham are digging in the garden with Great Grandma for pottery, playing with Teddy Edward,  Great Grandma in the paddling pool and Great Grandma playing football in the garden Grandma is now cared for in a specialist home for people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Our walk is in celebration of a very special lady!
