Story
Refugee Education UK (REUK) was set up 10 years ago in response to the growing number of unaccompanied asylum seekers in Brent. Through a combination of mentoring, higher education advice, wellbeing support and leadership opportunities, young refugees from over 45 countries are welcomed and encouraged to rebuild their lives. Many are here on their own and almost half are survivors of trafficking or torture.
REUK is entering a new chapter. They want to support as many young refugees as possible and are developing their research and advocacy work to bring about structural change for young refugees in the UK. They are also soon to open an education centre for young refugees in Harlesden in Brent.
Please support REUK and the young people they're working with. Thank you!
