Story

Sienna Elliott, aged 11, will be taking part in the sponsored step challenge that's good for the sole! She will be stepping it up during the week beginning the 4th of May to raise vital funds for Guide Dogs! The sponsorship money you help her raise really will make a difference. Just £95 could buy a training school kit for one guide dog trainer who will teach pups the special skills they need as a fully qualified guide dog. Sienna has helped her totally blind mum at many fundraising events over the years and knows just how important this service is.  sienna says, “ I love Winnie, my mum’s current guide dog, and I know just how lost mum would be without her. I want to help other guide dog partnerships as much as I can. my target is to walk 100,000 steps over my sponsorship week.” So go on - help her knock her socks off!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
