Story

"There is a moment in every race. A moment where you can either quit, fold, or say to yourself, 'I can do this.'”

The time has come to push my body to it’s limits once again (Will I ever learn!). The training has been bloody painful with many a injury. But tomorrow I’m going to be standing at that start line and I really want it to mean something.

I heard a story recently from Richard House that a two year old child was admitted to hospital with a routine issue. Very sadly the child died which was completely unexpected. The Mum just couldn’t cope, she couldn’t get her head around what had happened. She certainly wasn’t ready to say goodbye to him. So they came to Richard House where the whole family stayed by his side. They dressed him in his favourite PJs and decorated his room. She couldn’t face seeing him go into the tiny coffin. So our care team stepped in and made arrangements with the funeral director. I don’t know how they done it. So to try and show my thanks and to support other families going through this heartbreaking situation let’s raise some much needed money.

Thanks so much everyone ❤️
