Story
Sadly I lost my precious mum to pancreatic cancer in April this year she fought the disease for 2 and half years she battled till the end. Mum was a lovely kind caring fun loving lady. When she was ill mum would go to Blythe house enjoy treatments chatting do the activities. Blythe house really put mum at ease and helped her. When mum was in hospital we spoke about the twilight glow walk and she said that my sisters and I should do it so we have register to honour mums wishes and make her proud.
Blythe House Hospice provides care and support for patients, families and carers across the High Peak community who are affected by cancer or a life-limiting illness. The care and support Blythe House provides remains completely free of charge. By taking part in the Glow Twilight Walk, I am supporting Blythe House Hospice to continue to provide this much needed care. By sponsoring me you could contribute to the following:£50 would pay for three hours Hospice at Home care for someone in their last weeks of life.£100 would pay for half a days physiotherapy for a patient struggling with mobility as a result of their illness.£150 would pay for 5 counselling sessions for a bereaved child at one of the hardest times of their life.£450 would pay for three nights of care for a patient at the end of their life who wants to remain in their own home.
