Terrifying times - in Afghanistan women must once again hide away and bear the merciless aggression of pumped up, controlling men lest they get stoned in the street, raped, or have their hand cut off for 'theiving'. Want an education? Forget it. Haven't we learnt yet??
It comes in all shapes and sizes everywhere, every day.
This time I'm not going to sit back and watch, thinking that it's all so far away and doesn't concern me. It should concern each and every one of us!
I'm taking on the challenge of walking 100k in September supporting women's rights all over the world for CARE International. I have zero free time for most of the month so this is going to be a humongous effort - any support monetary ⬇️ or getting me out for a walk - even on a tea break (!), or sharing this post will all be massively appreciated.
