Here we are again!
For those of you that don’t know, I was part of the Rennie Grove 2020 marathon team which due to covid was postponed twice! After a lot of training, I accepted fate and promised myself I would try again another year so here we are! I have a long way to go but this year I will run a marathon in memory of my amazing dad.
In 2016, my dad Stephen Budd sadly passed away from Cancer. Rennie Grove helped myself and my family through the hardest time. They were there during my dads last days and were an amazing support. The nurses answered any questions we had and made my family feel as reassured as possible at the time. They made sure my dad was comfortable and for that we are all very grateful. For that reason, I am running the london marathon (26.2 miles). I want others families and patients to benefit from the support and kindness that we had from Rennie Grove. Our family cannot thank Rennie Grove enough. I hope to make Rennie Grove and my Dad proud!
