I have been selected to participate in a Girlguiding international trip to San Francisco in the summer of 2015. 

The trip will involve helping at some local charities in California which could see us preparing meals for homeless people or sorting food bank donations as well as sewing shoe and clothes bags for 'My new red shoes', a charity that provides school outfits for children in poverty.

There will also be some time for sight-seeing in Yosemite national park (one of the places we will be staying) as well as San Francisco (let's hope I manage to escape from Alcatraz).

To take part in the trip each Participant has to raise £3,000.00. I have a number of ideas for fundraising and plan to start from the beginning of the new year once Christmas and exams are out of the way.

I would be very grateful for any donations that people would like to give in order to raise the money needed.
