We fight for hospice care to support all who need it, now and forever

Story

The Hospice at Home service provided to my Grandad in the months before his death earlier this year was invaluable, providing the help he and my Nana needed to allow him to be cared for at home.

The charity Help the Hospices is the leading charity supporting hospice care in the UK.

Hospices need to raise over £1.5 million each day to keep going. Hospices care for 360,000 people every year, including patients, families and friends. Hospice care can be at home, in day care or in a hospice.

Hospice care is free for patients and their families, but it is not free to provide. All donations, however big or small, help hospices to provide the very best care to people facing the end of life and their families.

So I'm hoping to raise some money for a good cause. And all I have to do is run 13 miles.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now
