Story
During their annual training in Cyprus I'm going to be doing a skydive with the Royal Logistics Corps Silver Stars Parachute team to raise money for the BFBS Big Salute.
The campaign raises money for armed forces charities and helps them fund essential items and projects. Every penny raised goes towards these charities.
Most recently the Big Salute has awarded grants to 13 charities: Alabare, Association of Royal Naval Officers (ARNO), Blesma the Limbless Veterans, Bridge4Heroes, Combat Stress, Felix Fund, Glen Art, Help 4 Homeless Veterans, Learning Through Horses, The Matthew Project, Turn to Starboard, Unload and Veterans Aid.

The team members are from all ranks and trades in the Corps, including the Army Reserve. Although supported by Corps Association funds most parachutists have spent a considerable amount of personal funds and off-duty time in order to achieve the expertise needed to become members of the display team.
