Trek26 Brecon Beacons - 26 miles · 4 September 2021 ·

Journey through a spectacular area of wild moorland, tumbling waterfalls and sweeping mountain slopes in the Brecon Beacons. Trek for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure.

Story

In September  I am completing the Trek26 for Alzheimer’s Society, where I will be completing a 26 mile walk through the Brecon Becons in one day. As many of you may know, this is a condition very close to my heart after my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia 4 years ago at the age of 68. This disease is so upsetting for the person, families and carers in which there is currently no cure. Having a very small family this has had devastating effects and I am doing this to support Alzheimer’s society who provides support and guidance to families and carers in a time of need. Thank you all in advance it really means a lot xx

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
