Tandem Skydive, 29 June 2012
We support people living with brain injury to give them the best quality of life

Story

I'm rasing money for this wonderful hospital because two years ago my godmother had a brain hemorrhage and never fully recovered. She is now a patient at The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney, which is a national medical charity, not part of the NHS, which needs to raise over £2 million each year in voluntary donations to continue providing care, treatment and assessment for 240 sufferers of profound neurological disabilities. Their residents and patients benefit from 17 different therapies that promote independence, quality of life and choice, which is what sets this hospital apart from other ones and is what helps their residents to start rebuilding their lives.

So in October I am doing a tandem skydive! It's something I've wanted to do for ages and what better way to do so than to raise money for something which means a lot to me.
