We are running/walking the Great North Run to raise money for Butterwick Hospice who allowed respite for my dad/grandad in the last months of his life. They allowed Alwyn some free time in a great place, a break for our caring family and provided support in a difficult and confusing time. The money raised will hopefully go towards helping other people and families like ours to make the end of a life just as valuable as the rest of it.

We are also running in memory of Joan Thomas, the best mam/grandma anyone could ask for. They were both amazing parents and grandparents to a big but close family, always thinking of others and the help and support they provided us all will never be forgotton. Love you xxx

Ps we don't really have a time or money goal, just going as fast as we can to raise as much as we can :)
