Hiya everyone,

This year, I'm taking part in the Bristol 10k, the Nottingham 10k Race for Life and the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham to raise money for the new Teenage Cancer Trust's Southwest unit, in memory of my childhood friend Ella Redman, 

Ella was a kind,  fun and beautiful person who I always looked up to. However, she sadly passed away from cancer in November 2012, aged just 20, after fighting the disease for 18 months. It was her wish that the other young people who suffered the same horrendous disease would have a specialist young people's oncology unit in Bristol, which would've made her own experience slightly more bearable. 

The unit, which cost £2.5 million, opened in March; Teenage Cancer Trust need all the funding they can get to keep 'Area 61' open and improving the quality of care for cancer patients aged 16 - 24.
