On the 24th April 2016 I will be running the Virgin London Marathon 2016 for Age UK. I may be crazy and not quite know what I'm getting myself into but please read my short story below to see my motivation behind it all...

Sadly 2 years ago at the age of 82 my nan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Every day that goes by things slowly start getting more and more confusing and her memory starts to fade. Although my nan lives on her own after the loss of 2 husbands she is lucky enough to have a loving, supportive family around her.

Age UK have offered many services to help and support not only my nan but many other people suffering from the same or in similar situations. This is why I would like to say thank you to them by running the 2016 London Marathon and try and raise as much money as I can for this amazing charity.

This will only be possible with the generous help from all my friends and family! 

Please donate as little or as much as you can as it all adds towards my target of £1850!

Thank you again for your support - I'll do my best to make my nan and you all proud!
