Story
Yes, I've completely lost my mind... and seems like my craziness has now rubbed off on George who will also be completing the Ultra Marathon with me!
I'm never one to do things in halves, having never ran before I decided to take on Cardiff's Half Marathon in 2016 to raise money for the MS Society. I absolutely loved the challenge and thought this year it's time to step it up!
I'll be completing the South Coast Challenge on the 31st of August 2019 to raise money for the MS Society. This Ultra Marathon involves walking, jogging and running 100km over 2 days! So considering the furthest distance I have ever covered is 21km, I am going to need as much motivation and determination to get the training in and complete the challenge!
Since Dad was diagnosed with MS 6 years ago our whole world has been turned upside down by this increasing progressive and incurable disease. As a family we support Dad on a daily basis to live his life to the fullest and manage the horrible symptoms of MS as best as we can. Supporting the MS Society not only provides the much needed funding towards a cure, it also helps all the suffers get the help and support they need to keep going.
Any donations or messages of support will be and are hugely appreciated from not just me but Dad and the whole family. Thank you all for your amazing support, Ill be posting regular updates throughout my training and obviously on the event day itself!
