Chilterns MS Centre Skydive 2019 · 28 September 2019
As I'm sure you already know, my dad was diagnosed with MS in 2001 and is pretty much the best person I know. He always remains positive and complains far less than I would if I were in his position.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune condition that affects the central nervous system resulting in a variety of symptoms, such as difficulty walking, fatigue, muscle stiffness and issues with cognitive function. The Chilterns MS Centre have been incredible in supporting my Dad with Physio, Oxygen and general support, so I'd like to raise some money to help out with the costs of running the centre.
My mum will be completing a walking challenge - 26 miles each week throughout September and Elliot and I are throwing ourselves out of a plane, all to raise money for the Chilterns MS Centre.
I'm not sure jumping out of a plane is the best thing to do when you're scared of heights but seeing as I've had my Dad wrapped around my little finger for the last 25 years it's probably time I did something for him.
Anything you can donate, no matter how small would be really appreciated and would go a long way in helping out!
Lots of love,
Karen, Jess and Elliot xxx
