Story

Well.... this is what happens when you get carried away on Teams calls at work and decide It's a good idea to run a marathon.. We sadly didn't get into the London marathon... so decided to go for the Big London Half instead!

Since our paths collided at Hawksmoor back in 2020, we have both experienced the impact that breast cancer has on others.  So we decided to raise funds for Breast Cancer UK. This is a cause close to our hearts and we are delighted that Neal's wife Vicki has recently received the all clear thanks to the fantastic treatment she received.

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Over 55,000 women and 390 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet a quarter of these cases are preventable. Breast Cancer UK is working to prevent breast cancer through education, scientific research, collaboration and policy change.     Breast Cancer UK provides practical advice and tips on how we can reduce our risk. They campaign for changes to national health policies to support prevention, and fund research to help improve our understanding of how to stop the disease.

Please donate what you can to this fantastic cause - every donation will spur us on in our training and help us get round the course!
