Story

In April we lost our friend Finlay. He was the most loving, caring and fun 13 year old you could ever meet. Despite the best efforts of paramedics and the team at QMC’s Paediatric Critical Care Unit, Finlay died from asthma related complications on Tuesday 27th April 2021.

Most of us have known Finlay since playgroup – almost as long as we can remember. On 5th September 2021, we’re going to walk 10 miles to raise money for the Paediatric Critical Care Unit, Queen’s Medical Centre.

The Paediatric Critical Care Unit doesn't just provide medical care for poorly children, it also provides vital support for parents and family members during the most difficult and emotional times.

We would be so grateful if you could sponsor us to help make hospital visits a little bit more comfortable for anxious parents and poorly children…
