OUR 2015 100 MILE CHALLENGE!

We are taking on a number of challenges throughout 2015:

  • 20 Mile Obstacle Course (9th May)
  • Race for Life 10k (30th May)
  • A.N. Other 10k (July)
  • London to Cambridge 100k (29th Aug)
  • Run to the Beat 10k (13th Sep)

The total distance covered across these events will be just in excess of 100 miles!

Through these challenges, as well as raising awareness, we want to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK.


THE INDIVIDUAL EVENTS

20 MILE OBSTACLE COURSE

Location: Burghley House, Stamford

Date: Saturday 9th May 2015

Time: 9.30am (Wave 7)

Description: On May 9th 2015, the World's Largest Assault Course will return to Burghley House. In the grounds of England's finest Elizabethan Country Estate, a monstrous course will again emerge with 200 obstacles to block your route around a colossal 20 mile course. Prepare for a Dirty Weekend like you have never seen. Average completion time is 4-6 hours. This is not your normal mud run!

RACE FOR LIFE 10k

Location: Burghley House, Stamford

Date: Sunday 31st May 2015

Time: 11.00am

Description: The Stamford route is a cross-country, undulating course on grass and paths and is moderately challenging, taking you around the beautiful grounds of Burghley Estate.

LONDON TO CAMBRIDGE 100k

Location: Start Olympic Park London; Finish Cambridge (see link for route)

Date: Sunday 29th August 2015

Time: Start 11.00am

Description: 100km of footpaths and trails joins these two illustrious Cities. The London to Cambridge 100km Ultra Challenge begins in East London, by the Olympic Park. You'll journey alongside the River Lee right from the start. The first 30km will see you exiting London's urban area on towpath beside the water. From the 'half way point', you'll move on to smaller footpaths and trails, crossing little brooks and wild flower meadows. Continuing on through the rolling farmland, you'll pass through quiet villages until the 78km point. From there, you'll be on a pavement route through to Grantchester at 94km, which prompts your return to the footpath alongside the river Cam leading you to Cambridge. Average completion time is 15-20 hours.

RUN TO THE BEAT 10k

Location: Wembley, London

Date: Sunday 13th September 2015

Time: 9.25am

Description: Run to the Beat is like no other running event! The 10k route brings you a challenging run combined with an electric atmosphere and one epic after party!
