TOGETHER WITH JERRY WE CAN DO THIS 

Jeremy Thorpe, known to all as Jerry, is from Ipswich and is 60 years old. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in October 2019. Jerry's mission is to increase awareness of MND and to raise funds towards finding a cure and to help people right now in facing the challenges of the disease. Jerry's family and friends are supporting him all the way in his mission. 

This is the first event. It is being brilliantly organised by Phil Greenhalgh and the local amateur football group has responded magnificently! 

The funds raised will be allocated 50% towards MND Suffolk Group and 50% towards MND Research.

Jerry put out a call on a local amateur football Facebook group page. He created the page in the Autumn of 2020 when he came across a load of football memorabilia as part of a declutter. It's bringing  back memories of fantastic times, on and off the football field, with all those connected with the local football scene between 1975-2005. 

The Facebook page has gone from strength to strength - it's made people smile, the banter is great and old friendships have been rekindled.
