Josh & Jerry's Lockdown "Marathons" · 3 May 2020

We've been helping people who are homeless & vulnerable in Bristol for 35 years, by providing food, shelter, hope and support. We have four services; The Wild Goose Centre, Spring of Hope Women's Shelter, Life Recovery & S & E Bristol foodbank. A client shared with us, "you've saved my life."

Story

Inspired by people doing virtual marathons last weekend, Josh decided to do a half marathon by running along part of our cul de sac 400 times. This will mean he’ll cover the half marathon distance of 13.2 miles or 20 kilometres. Josh completed 10k yesterday and is on course to do the remainder today. Meanwhile, Jerry walked 26.2 miles on the Cross Trainer yesterday.
