Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our great friend Jerome Brecard sadly passed away from bowel cancer on 3rd July 2019, leaving behind his wife Jo and two lovely children, Remy and Max. Jerome was a well known and huge part of the tag rugby scene in the UK in its early days. His love for life and banter is greatly missed by us all. Jerome played in the first ever England ‐ London Australia tag rugby match in September 2010. Jerome was on the winning side that day (18‐10 Oz), and in usual fashion put his name on the score sheet too.
The next Try Tag Rugby (TTR) International Cup is taking place on 11th September. TTR are marking the occasion by awarding the winner of the England - Australia A grade fixture the Jerome Brecard Cup. As part of this, and in honour of Jerome, we are raising money for the fight against bowel cancer. We are grateful for all the support you can provide.
