I lost my Dad in April 2022 to this awful disease and so wanted to do something in his memory. Despite the pandemic the Alzheimer's Society online programs were very helpful plus other advice and support they provided hence why I have decided to raise money for this worthy cause. Due to Covid and living overseas I didn't get to see the ole man during his decline until travel restrictions were lifted in October 2021. I am very grateful that he remembered me, but this turned out to be the last farewell.
