Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in support of the PBC Foundation.

My wife Joan was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) in 2016.  PBC is an auto-immune liver disease which causes progressive destruction of the small bile ducts within the liver.  The cause of PBC is unknown and presently there is no cure for this disease.  Joan is a registered member of the PBC Foundation and this charity has helped her feel less isolated.  Joan has already raised much needed funds by walking to the Dark Hedges in 2017, organising a coffee morning etc..

Now it is my turn!  I am hoping to climb Slemish Mountain (made famous by Saint Patrick) on Saturday 18th May 2019.  I would really appreciate it if you would help me to help the Foundation.

The PBC Foundation is a nationwide charity which offers up-to-date information and support for those suffering this rare auto-immune disease.

Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this.

Best wishes

Jeremy
