We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July, I'll be taking on a 100km walk over two days in aid of Alzheimer's Society, in memory of my wonderful Mum (in the pic above) who passed away in January this year.

Alzheimer’s Society is working tirelessly to challenge perceptions, fund research and improve care and support for those living with dementia. They rely on donations to make sure people affected by dementia get the support they need today - and to help find a cure for tomorrow.

For example:

  • £5 could pay for one person to attend a support session at a Dementia Cafe.
  • £50 could fund a National Dementia Helpline advisor for an hour as they provide a listening ear for people in need of advice and support.
  • They've committed to spending £150 million on cutting-edge research over the next decade. Every project they fund directly addresses the needs and concerns of people affected by dementia.

Let’s take on dementia together.

Thank you for getting involved and for your support and encouragement.
