London to Brighton Challenge 2021 · 29 May 2021 ·
We should have completed this event in 2020 but as we know, life took a different path for us all. But my original message still stands - 3 remarkable people who are missed every day and who I want to honor with this challenge, albeit a year later than I had originally intended! Jen x
2019 was a toughy! We had to say goodbye to 3 extraordinary, inspirational and awe inspiring human beings who each stood up to cancer and fought every day, to be able to make memories and moments that we, their loved ones, can take forward with us and treasure forever.
I can honestly say that each one of the them; my wonderful stepmum Shirley, my dearly missed colleague Mike and the hilariously delightful Oliver; have each had a profound impact on my life in one way or another and now I would like to pay it forward.
So, along with a small group of awesome friends, I am walking from London to Brighton in May, hoping to raise some money for CLIC Sargent.
I know they would be right behind us, shouting encouragement, and I would be really grateful if you could as well, even a donation of the change in your pocket can all add up and help make a difference to children and their families affected by Cancer.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When cancer strikes young lives CLIC Sargent helps families limit the damage cancer causes beyond their health. Today, 11 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, CLIC Sargent’s specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. CLIC Sargent will fight tirelessly for them, individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things. To find out more visit www.clicsargent.org.uk.
