Three months ago I lost my dear friend Sian.

She was, quite simply, one in a billion.

From her original breast cancer diagnosis over five years ago until her death in June, she was nothing short of amazing.  She didn't wallow in self pity but fought the disease with every ounce of energy she possessed using her belief in positive thinking and her wonderful sense of humour to get through even the toughest of days. She was loved by everyone lucky enough to come into contact with her and, consequently, was surrounded constantly by a brilliant network of family and friends.  However, there were times when something was needed outside of these friendships. Times when knowledge and support from people who can give professional advice and trusted information was of the utmost importance both for Sian and her loved ones. 

Breast Cancer Care provided such help, free of charge, but they can only continue to do so, for other breast cancer patients, if they receive financial support....... which is where this request for sponsorship of my climb up (and down!!) Ben Nevis comes in.  

Please help me raise money to help those affected by this cruel disease.
