I'm running 250k (and I don't even like running) to raise money for Save the Children's coronavirus appeal, to make something positive come out of this time and make the most of the lockdown.
Please donate as much or as little as you can! Here are 3 reasons you should donate...
- to support Save the Children in helping families in England and across the world, who have already been affected and are going to be hit hard by the knock on effects of the Coronavirus crisis
- if you feel grateful in having a secure home and extra time on your hands right now, to share out some of that gratitude
- to feel good about yourself!
If we're worried about the impacts of the crisis here, just imagine how it's going to affect poorer people across the rest of the world with no access to healthcare, space to isolate, or economic safety net.
Have a read of this article here for some more food for thought: "Coronavirus is the biggest disaster for developing nations in our lifetime"
