We fund the best neurological research to improve the lives of those affected.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page

On the 14th June 2009, I will be running half a marathon (13.1 miles/ 21K) at St Albans.

I will be running for a charity called Brain Research Trust (http://www.brt.org.uk/) which is a UK charity which funds research for the treatment of the following neurological disorders:

 ·        Alzheimer's Disease,

·        Autism

·        Brain Tumours

·        Epilepsy

·        Huntington's Disease
Multiple Sclerosis

·        Parkinson's Disease (including the Deep Brain Stimulation operation)

·        Serious head injury

·        Spinal cord research

·        Stroke.

and many more ....

During my fundraising and hard training for the BRT, my own father had a large brain haemorrhage and is in currently in intensive care.  Therefore, we need to generate as much awareness and support as possible to improve the quality of life for those affected as brain injury can happen to ANYONE!

Thank you so much for all your kind support.
