Story

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last June, my Grandma Marjorie passed away after battling with vascular dementia for a few years. Seeing the effects of dementia for myself has made me understand what a truly awful disease it can be and how much heartache it can cause both the victims and the families of those affected.

I will therefore be running this year's Brighton Marathon to raise money for Dementia UK; a charity which aims to improve quality of life for all people affected by dementia. This is a really worthwhile cause and a charity which is very close to my heart.

Please help me raise money and awareness by donating anything you can, and feel free to check on my justgiving page on the 'run' up to the event how my training is coming along!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for your support
