Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the High Wycombe Half Marathon on 21 July 2013. I’m doing it for my brother Colin who passed away at the age of 55 of a brain tumour. Here is his story:
While at work on Sunday 26 2010 he collapsed with many seizures. He was taken into hospital where a biopsy revealed an inoperable brain tumour. Before this he was a fit, healthy, fun, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, who is now, missed so much. The doctors only gave him 4-7 months but he lived a full and happy 2 years and 2 months due to the love and care of his wife, Wendy. Colin touched a lot of people hearts with is kindness and love he was a person everyone loved to be around and that has rub off and will carry on through his children and grandchildren.
Colin has raised money for many charities through the years. From a car pull of over 10 miles for equipment for an ambulance to walking miles to raise money for his favourite football team, Oxford United. He always said that when he got better he wanted to do more charity work and go fishing again which he loved to do with Wendy.
He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him but his memory will go on through his family.
