I have chosen to raise money for JDRF because my nephew has Type 1 diabetes, diagnosed several years ago. JDRF are doing amazing work to support those who live with diabetes and - one day - find a cure. My nephew lives a full and active life just like any other boy but does so while managing the daily challenges that diabetes presents. With more research, we can continually get better at diabetes management and even find a cure. 

As you probably know by now, four of us are taking part in an Ultra Challenge - the Cotswold Way 100km walk, otherwise known as “The Very Long Walk”. More details and updates on our training are on our team Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/theverylongwalkteam/

We are seeking sponsorship for our efforts and raising money for JDRF and another charity - Shooting Star Children’s Hospice (Richard has a separate page set up for this and the two pages are connected as a team). We are hoping people can split their donations between these two great charities. But you can also just donate to one. We are very grateful for any contribution.
