Story
On the 27th of May I ran the BUPA London 10k. And then as if that wasn't bad enough, on the 2nd August (next weekend!) I'm attempting the muscle-defying Three Peaks Challenge: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pyke and Snowdon.
Exercise does not come naturally to me. At all. I know that 10k (6.3 miles) doesn't seem like much, especially in marathon season, but for me it is a very daunting prospect! And as for the Three Peaks...let's just say I'm not expecting to come back down that last mountain with all my limbs intact.
The Stroke Association is a cause very important to me. They do exceptional work supporting those who have to come to terms with the devastating effects of a stroke, as well as those who love and care for them.
So please give generously! Knowing the differences that will be made by your donation will help me race through that last mile, and crawl to the top of that last slope.
