We support people affected by bipolar to manage their condition in everyday life

Story

In November 2014 we lost our daughter, sister, niece, cousin Jo to Bipolar. Bipolar is what was once described as manic depression, it's a mental illness that takes people from devastating lows to amazing highs in a matter of hours and without any rhyme nor reason.

During these amazing highs more often than not individuals make very poor decisions without any thought to consequence and during the lows self harm occurs in 30 - 40 percent of occasions and suicide in 6% over a 20 year period.

Sadly Jo succumbed to one of her lows and committed suicide in November 2014.

In memory of Jo and to try and raise awareness of this devastating illness, we as part of our family are Abseil the ArcelorMittal Orbit and immersing ourselves  in the views of London as we descend 262ft to the ground.
