Story
For those who know me, RNIB is a charity close to my heart. For those that don’t, I was born with a rare eye condition - Retinitis Pigmentosa, which is an incurable eye disease. Finding out at the age of 15 that this genetic disorder could result in me losing my sight one day, was a lot to deal with. When people say, you can never understand what someone is going through until you’ve walked a day in their shoes is the most real statement I’ve heard. This is why I’m running Marathon Mates with my lovely husband Mike for RNIB.
I’m not a keen runner but will aim to run 13.1 miles...(well run, walk or possibly crawl) throughout May, with Mike also running 13.1 miles, totalling a marathon of 26.2 miles.
Any donations would be amazing...😊
